Assist. Prof. Dr. Dariush Jahani

Dr. Dariush Jahani specializes in the optical and electronic properties of 2D materials. His master’s research focused on the electronic transport of Dirac carriers in graphene, which led to multiple peer-reviewed publications. During his doctoral studies, he investigated light transmission in graphene-based photonic crystals and developed tunable photonic devices. This work included a research visit to Sorbonne University, where he explored the mechanical properties of strained graphene.
